Who We Are

We are a one man band, 'me' named Emily who hand makes all our products out of our home studio.  So when I say "We" or "Our" I mean myself alongside my amazing and very supportive husband who also has a part to play.                 

Turning Heads NZ is a new adventure for me, and I am super excited to see where this takes us. I am mummy to our beautiful little girl who came into this world in April 2019, and she is my why for what I do!

My love for head accessories for little girl ,my newly discovered passion of getting behind the sewing machine, and  beautiful scented candles is the reason I have decided to embark on this journey.

Whilst on maternity leave, I started making turbans and head accessories for our girl.

We went on a family trip to the UK to visit family when our daughter was 5 months old. We were "turning heads" literally. It was heading into winter over there which meant she wore head turbans pretty much every day.  We got asked where we purchased her turbans from by every second person, the lovely comments saying how adorable she is and how the turbans suited her.

My love for anything scented is the explanation behind our 'Scent' side. Candles, Diffusers, Bath Salts etc. Give me those things and you'll have my head turned!
